Where to meet, what to bring, and what happens if it rains. Rules that differ between yachts are on each yacht's page; the answers below say when that is the case.

Booking and payment
How do I book?
Send us your date, group size and occasion through the enquiry form, by email to sales@bobmarine.com.sg, or on WhatsApp at +65 8878 7804. We reply within 6 hours with what is free and a quote.
When is my booking confirmed?
When your payment is in. Dates go first come, first served, so a date is only yours once it is paid for.
Can you hold a date while I decide?
Yes, for 3 days.
How do I pay?
By bank transfer, PayNow or card. Put the invoice number in the reference of a bank transfer. Card payments carry a 4% service charge.
Can I cancel or change the date?
Yes, but there is usually a charge, and it depends on the yacht. The terms page puts every yacht's cancellation rules side by side.

Where do we board?
It depends on the yacht.

Sentosa's own page covers getting onto the island.
What time should we arrive?
15 minutes before your charter time.
Who do I call when we get there?
We send you the crew's contact number the day before. Call them once everyone in your group has arrived.
What happens if we are late?
The charter still ends at the booked time. We cannot extend it or move it to make up for a late start.
Can we come early to decorate?
Usually, up to 30 minutes before your charter, if the yacht is free. Ask us and we will arrange it with the captain.
Food and drink
Is food included?
No. You can bring your own, or pre-order BBQ and drinks packages at least 7 days ahead. Each yacht's page lists what it offers and the prices.
Is there a corkage fee?
It depends on the yacht and the marina, and the yacht's page sets out what is free. At ONE°15, professional caterers pay the marina club's own per-head corkage fee; self-catered food is exempt.
Can we have food delivered?
Yes, to the marina's arrival plaza rather than the berth. Someone from your group has to collect it.
Do you supply ice?
Some yachts sell it as an add-on; others, such as Kingdom, have an icebox and ask you to bring the ice. The yacht's page says which.
Can we bring wine?
Several of our yachts do not allow red wine or glassware. White wine in disposable plastic cups is fine on those. Check the house rules on your yacht's page.
How does the BBQ work?
The pits run on gas, so there is no charcoal to bring. Bring your own cooking tools, cutlery and disposables unless your food package includes them. Grilling starts once the yacht has anchored or berthed, never while it is moving.
Can the crew do the cooking?
On most yachts, yes, for a fee listed on the yacht's page. The crew cook food that is ready for the grill; they do not marinate or prepare it.
On board
Are life jackets provided?
Yes, for everyone on board, children included. Sizes for babies vary: Sardinia has none for children under 3, so check the yacht's page if you are bringing a baby.
Do children count as guests?
Yes. Every child counts towards the guest number.
Can I play my own music?
Yes. Connect your phone, tablet or laptop to the Bluetooth sound system.
Do you provide plates, cups and cutlery?
No. Bring your own disposables, unless your food package includes them.
Can we bring a pet?
Some yachts take pets, with conditions such as a fee or a diaper, and some do not. Check the house rules on the yacht's page.
What should we wear?
Whatever is comfortable. Leave the heels at home.
What if I get seasick?
Buy motion sickness tablets from any pharmacy and take them at least 30 minutes before you board.
I have a PPCDL. Can I drive the yacht?
No. Only our captains drive, whatever licence you hold.
Are passengers insured?
No. The yachts carry third-party insurance only, so we suggest your own personal accident or travel cover.
Can we decorate the yacht?
Yes, lightly. The marinas set the limits: no confetti, no open flames, and nothing that stains the deck or blocks the captain's view. Each yacht's page lists what is allowed.
The trip
Where does the yacht go?
Most charters cruise to the Southern Islands, usually Lazarus or St John's, with about 30 to 60 minutes of cruising in total. Each yacht's page shows its route.
Can we go somewhere else?
Often, yes, with a fuel surcharge that depends on where you want to go.
Do we need passports?
No. Every charter stays in Singapore waters, and we do not run trips abroad.
What if it rains?
The captain checks with the marina's duty officer and decides whether it is safe to go out. If we call the charter off, you choose between a full refund and a new date. Each yacht's page has its own weather rule.
When does swimming stop?
At 7pm on Artemis 1, MnF, Sardinia and Synergy 1, and 7.30pm on Kingdom and Nautiness. Some yachts do not offer floats or kayaks on evening charters; the house rules say.
Can we go fishing?
Yes. Rods can be rented, and bait and crew help cost extra. Artemis 1 is set up for fishing trips; what a fishing charter is like covers the rest.
Can we go scuba diving?
No.
